Thought I'd let you know that I've started getting my sketches together for the comic.

I've decided to start from the ground up. I'm getting character designs done in my own style (like the first few pages which were done by me) because I don't draw the same way that Jord does. Honestly, I also have differing ideas on things like the fit of clothing and such (sorry Jord)

But, I will be posting the black and whites during my week off, which comes up in the next 4 days or so.

Hello again folks!

I'm happy to announce that the wonderful nyxgoldstone will be helping me with bringing 2WM back to life.

*gives a rousing round of applause for everything*

SO, getting back to business, I'm not promising an immediate revival. I would like to build the new site and get everything transferred first, I also need to get pages ready for posting. With that in mind, it might be another 4 months (minimum) before things get going again.

Fingers crossed on it being sooner, but we'll see. :)

OMG! A POST!

All joking aside, Jordan has given me permission to take over 2WM once again.

I know, that's what he said, and all that, but this time it's for real.

I would like to first apologize to all of you that have still been waiting with gritted teeth for a real update, which hasn't occurred in nearly a year. I am truly, honestly, sorry about all of that. I'm not going to make false excuses for that debacle. There would be no point in it.

Secondly, I would like to ask for your help in bringing this story back to life. As much as I am capable of writing and doing artwork, I fail at computational languages. I do not know how to use HTML, Java, Flash or Dreamweaver. I would LIKE to move 2WM to a webspace that I have acquired, It has a bit more freedom and is a little better suited for me, as I personally know the operator. So I ask, if you know how to build a decent website, as well as maintain it and kick my butt now and again if I get lazy, would someone care to help me bring this lady back from the dead?

I can't offer much, but a shared space in the little slice of digital limelight that is the internet.

My aunt who I've known all my life passed away last night from cancer.
And now we find out that my dad has cancer again in his lung.

Well, here's how this is all gonna go down:

After I get done with a crapload of commissions so's I can eat this month, I'm going to start making a backlog of 2WM pages that you can see on my FA gallery for now (without text), but won't actually be on the comic space until I have a respectable backlog worked up so when I do start updating, I won't be updating on a page-to-page basis; I want to KEEP a twice-a-week schedule, if possible, without letting down all you people who are waiting on me to resume the comic... I want to keep a regular update routine without fail... and I'm going to need at least a month's worth of backlog in order to do that.
I'll be SLOWLY changing the site over as I go. Flying solo, I'm responsible for ... well... everything... and one person can only do so much. I've applied for a few survival day-jobs I should be able to work and make ends meet with. If I can land them, and I can WORK them without wrecking my back... I'll not have to have most of my time taken up with commissions. Right now, I'm more or less struggling to manage my time efficiently enough to do EVERYTHING at ONCE...
So here's how things are going to go down.

1. (First priority) Get caught up with all my artistic debts and keep nabbing those arts-for-food commissions.
2. Get 2WM pages backlogged up to a respectable month-long backup.
3. Launch new pages and new story arc.
4. Redo the website.
5. Eventually move the website to a server without ads.

Because of unexpected problems because of employment status, overall spinal health, and a few other niggling little factors... such as I have yet to redesign the new 2 Way Mirror webpage... the official release of the new pages is being pushed back a bit until things get a little more stable for me.
What I WILL have for you 2 Way Mirror believers out there, however, is the cover to the new story arc for 2WM. I'll save the title for later ;)
Just gimmie a little more time, folks. Things WILL pick up, it's just going to be crappy for a few weeks for me.

Hey folks, teh J here.

Well, after a long time waiting... I think you folks deserve to know.
Jess has given 2 Way Mirror up. It was ready for the massive grave of webcomics that have lost audiences and interest throughout the years after I left the project last year and was drawn to other projects to work on, never quite finishing my 'unfinished business'. It's been a year since I did that one page. Things have changed. I've changed.
The fact that I love the characters and the original vision of this comic has not, however.
2 Way Mirror will return... I will be flying solo, and as such... I have some changes to make given that it's been so long since you've seen Anissa and the gang... and I need to make some changes for MYSELF to make damned sure I don't just lose interest in the thing.
4 years have passed since Anissa used her powers for purely selfish reasons. Anissa and company are not going to be in school anymore. Things are going to be a lot less... trivial for Anissa, too. Expect to see some mystery and suspense with a side of action in addition to the relationships you've come to enjoy within the group. I'm not done with this story folks. And guess what...
They're staying furry.

Well, folks, I know I've been leaving you hanging. I'm sorry about that, didn't mean to wait so long before giving another update.

I've managed to get a huge chunk of plot down in point form, I'm currently working on getting the script-proper written.

In the mean time, I'll give ya some hints on what's going on.

1) Brent is going to be kicking some ass

2) Annie looses her cool in the mirrorscape (the dream realm)

3) Annie's going to have to make a decision soon

4) Mel gets injured (OMG!!)

So, yes, as Jord has recently pointed out, I'm planning on keeping Annie and the gang alive. I am going to be a little better prepared this time though.

Here's what I'm going to do.

I'm going to write the story, beginning to end, first.
Then I will be scouting for an art assistant (I can't offer much at the moment, but who know what could happen once the story is finished) that will help me with the artwork (more info will be posted at a later time)
I will also be moving the comic to a more stable website with an easier access handle.

Hopefully this will help the comic be more badass than it's previous days.

Well, there you have it, folks. The first page of Between Pages. That's what the new 'Annie' looks like... and of course, later on, when you see her apartment, keep an eye out for a little kitty plush wearing a black shirt with purple hair ;)
Y'know... some of you have voiced opinions about the restarting of the comic, specifically of the change from furry to human. Well, I have to say that I do have regrets on that subject, more specifically, the parts of the story I was just WAITING to release but won't get to with the original characters. Restarting means that it'll take even longer before these scenes happen... so I caved, and got myself a FA account under the moniker, 'teh J' where you'll be able to see pages that will be entitled 'Unfinished Business' which will be exerpts from 2 Way Mirror I didn't get to draw, but wanted to... and because I'm fairly certain I know the majority of 2WM readers are comfortable with mature content, it'll be uncensored, and as such, will only be posted on the FA account. More as it develops.

I couldn't resist drawing Mel and Annie one more time. Don't worry peoples, they're not going anywhere, they're just coming back in a different format.
If you want to keep posted to Krisis in Korneria, the comics will of course always be posted on my deviantart account, though I'm thinking of getting a furaffinity account to post other future furry artworks there.
Anyway, if you're curious as to what Between Pages will be like, there is a sneak peek on my deviantart as well, but basically, Anissa's name is changed over to Eve, though Melissa isn't changed, neither has Brenton, and Hiroki has just been shortened down to Hiro. There will still be a Sonya Wilder, Talbon, Susan and Carmen, and even an Adam character. None of them are being sacrificed to the abyss of comic obscurity... though this time around, Annie's mom is still alive, they're just living in Manitoba, so they're a ways away, 'cause Annie/Eve is older. 25 to be exact, and living on her own with her roomie and still best friend. Brenton is one of Eve's old highschool friends, though Brenton and Mel haven't met yet. Hiro will take a little while to make his appearance. Eve's not much of a performance musician this time around, but rather, she's more of a computer geek/blogger and has her degree in music composition, not performance.

This certainly isn't goodbye, and we hope you'll all check out Between Pages... and if you're hoping for something a little more furry? Stay tuned... who knows what'll pop out of our heads.

I'm working on several comic pages at once and I'm getting myself back in shape after my muscles went all mushy from recovering from my herniated discs, but I'm at 100% health once more, and will make a much more concentrated effort to keep at least a weekly schedule for Bucky.
As for the big announcement, well... rather than try and key it up like some kind of major, life-changing moment, I'll just say it here.
2 Way Mirror is starting over. NOT ending... this time with an older, all-human cast, but the core of each character will remain the same. If you have any questions about this, throw them out here, but it has become pretty evident to just about everyone that neither Jess nor I were able to continue 2 Way Mirror in it's current form. The new comic will be called 'Between Pages' and have a page separate from here. 2 Way Mirror will remain online for archival purposes, but the promised wallpapers and other things I tried to put together in order to get MYSELF inspired to work on the project in it's current form will not come into being, I'm afraid. I feel like I've failed you folks in some ways or another... but instead of just shrugging my shoulders and saying, "I failed. Seeya later." I am taking these characters we made and moving them to a new level, one I'm far more comfortable writing for and illustrating. No more manga influences. No more awkward 'human/furry' balance. I am starting over to produce something better, stronger, faster than before for the characters of 2 Way Mirror. News about Between Pages will be updated here, as will promotional art, and who knows... maybe the domain name of this comic will change and it'll transform into something entirely different... it all depends on how things go from here now that I'm mailing out my portfolio to mainstream comic book publishers.

About the delay folks, been a bit under the weather and am tackling a bunch of different projects at once.
A MAJOR announcement for the future of 2 Way Mirror is coming soon. Keep posted.

But the compy I've been using to colour the pages on decided to crap out on me. Almost there! I've been working on the next page in the meantime, so the next update should be coming along shortly after the first!

This splash page really took the biscuit. Colour, dialogue and title graphics coming soon!
